FM CAFE (Factory Meal) - Family Cafe-RestaurantFM CAFE (Factory Meal) - a family cafe-restaurant where you can relax with family or friends, watch a black and white movie or listen to music. We decided to find out what was built the home comfort of the restaurant.
The design was developed by Julia Baidyk, whose projects combine functionality and comfort. The cafe opened in February 2018, and was originally aimed exclusively at the sleeping area and its inhabitants. The space is zoned so that guests can retire, but at the same time were not cut off from the rest. The overall design concept is a European modern style with artistic accents. There is a large palette of warm colors, Venetian plaster prevails in the decoration.
Restaurant cafe has two floors. The first floor is designed for 70 people. It is divided into two parts: a bar area in which there are 7 tables and a zone in which guests prefer to have breakfast or lunch.
The second part is the main hall. Zoned divided into different design spaces. Here you will find a library and geometric figures in the style of cubism.
In the near future, the restaurant has thought of such an event for its guests, like movie screenings. Every Friday at 20:00, come to watch the classics of world cinema. On Saturdays from 19:30 there are three-hour musical evenings. And on Sundays at 12:00 you can attend a workshop on cooking pastry or flour products. Also at the request of the guests sporting events are broadcast.
The restaurant is very sensitive to the wishes of the guests, so during the presentation of the menu, guests filled out questionnaires, expressing their wishes, which were then taken into account when creating the final dishes. The menu is dominated by European cuisine with Thai and Chinese accents.
Please note: the restaurant has developed a special children's menu.
It operates its own pastry shop, and in the farmers' markets they buy fruits, vegetables and dairy products. If you are planning to celebrate a holiday at home or at work, you will be specially baked a cake of any size, taking into account your most specific wishes. From 12:00 to 16:00 on weekdays business lunches are served, which are fully updated every 2 weeks. Plus every day has its own menu.
Among the various positions in the menu, we chose duck leg stewed in soy-orange marinade, served with raspberry sauce, stewed apples and wild rice (219 UAH).
At the moment, the wine list has 42 positions. In the near future they plan to expand the beer card by adding craft. We have traditionally tried several cocktails. Maple Bourbon (UAH 115) is prepared on the basis of bourbon, maple syrup, Angostura Bitter, Orange Fresh and Lime Juice. Soft with sour, despite the presence of maple syrup.
